ZuiderstrandTheater

The Zuiderstrand Theater, as its name indicates is located on the Southern beach of Scheveningen in The Hague. Its programme includes international musicians and entertainers and shows where not understanding Dutch does not prevent the audience to have a great night out.

Their invited acts range from dance, classical music, opera, jazz, musicals, world music, pop performances and Dutch cabaret. They also organize performances in the Nieuwe Kerk church in the centre of The Hague. Tickets for both locations can be purchased on line 24 hours day by clicking on the ‘info en bestellen’ button next to the show of your choice. Be sure to click on “voltooien’ to finalize your purchase. You can also purchase your tickets at their counter inside the public library at Spui 60 from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM till 6:00 PM. Their doors open an hour before the show starts. All payments from tickets to drinks or food can only be made by banking cards or credit cards.

They have a nice selection of family friendly shows from circus to music performances and a youth festival every autumn called De Betovering with plenty of workshops and fun things to do. If you are under the age of 27 they have last minute tickets for 10 euros for certain shows. Their summer break is from June 19 till August 22.

They have their own parking facilities for up to 500 cars and can sit over 1,000 people in their main room. Would you like to organize your own event there? All rooms have view on the dunes, the sea and the Scheveningen harbour and can welcome from 200 people or 1,750 people for parties if you rent out the whole theatre.
